You find this little town at the western tip
of the peninsula. Named after the famous admiral, Turgut Reis, this
is a stroll town in its own right and combines a compact town center
with several long sandy beaches.

famous sea captain. Turgut Reis, his commemorative bust is placed on
a high point where he can keep an eternal vigil over his place of
birth. It is said that there is no better place than Turgut Reis to
watch the sun slip down over the horizon, and its true, the sunset
here are spectacular. There is no better day to see. If you want to
escape the hustle and bustle of the market place, the long beach is
an ideal place to relax and soak up the sun. |
